Seafood Producers Cooperative (SPC) is a fishermen-owned co-op based in Sitka, Alaska. As a fishermen-owned co-op, fishermen put great pride into their work. Quality starts with what fishermen do on their boats. Then our unsung heroes in our Sitka plant put a tremendous amount of pride into maintaining that quality in order to ensure our customers get great SPC quality in every bite. We have a loyal crew led by Ruben Torres who started at the bottom on the slime line cutting fish heads and worked his way up to Plant Manager. Ruben and his loyal crew embody our co-op’s pride. Starting at 5am every day, 7 days a week, Ruben gets his crew working together as a family to ensure our customers get the best wild-caught seafood available. See how it all works in this video.
